The Bismarck Tribune should be back to normal operations Thursday after weather-related and electrical problems.
Monday’s ice and snow storm delayed the delivery of some Tuesday papers and that was followed by electrical issues on Tuesday that shut down the Tribune’s press. While the press was being repaired the Tribune was printed at the Minot Daily News on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and trucked to Bismarck. The delivery of Wednesday’s paper was delayed because of time required to haul the papers from Minot. We printed the Thursday paper earlier so delivery should be on schedule.
Readers will find obituaries on the back of the A section on Thursday and some other changes in the layout of the paper to accommodate color. Because of the early deadline some late sports scores and stories are online only.
We’re sorry about the delays in delivery this week and look forward to getting back to timely delivery.
