Vehicles parked in a casino parking lot were vandalized and broken into on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Dwight Offerman said four vehicles were vandalized, two were vandalized and entered, and one was entered at Chip's Casino, 1014 S. 12th St.

Most of the vandalism reports consisted of mirrors or antennas being broken, but in one instance, a pallet from the box of a pickup was placed on the pickup's roof, causing $800 in damage, Offerman said.

He said $1,485 in damages resulted from the vandalism reports. Also, $177 in property was stolen from two vehicles, he said.

The incidents were reported between 12:40 and 1 a.m. Tuesday, and are believed to have occurred after midnight, he said.
