Students from across the state will be in Bismarck Sunday for a conference. The students will attend the 2008 North Dakota Association of Student Council State Conference. The three-day conference is at the Ramkota Hotel. About 1,100 students from 85 schools are expected to attend.
Students will listen to guest speakers, including Gov. John Hoeven, and attend workshops on leadership, behavior and role models. They also will read books to third-grade students. Students also will elect state officers for the upcoming year.
The conference is sponsored by the North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
