Vandals have caused at least $500 damage to vehicle windows and mirrors in southwest Mandan.
Deputy Chief Paul Leingang said three car windows and two mirrors were damaged Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
All five incidents were reported on Ninth Avenue Southwest, Leingang said.
The windows had been shot with BB or pellet guns, and the mirrors appear to have been struck with other objects, he said. Tire tracks in the area indicate the vandals were in a vehicle while committing the crimes, Leingang said.
Each window and mirror was valued at $500, though Leingang said the actual damage was probably higher than that.
