Linton - The Linton/Emmons Flood Recovery Task Force will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Emmons County Memorial Auditorium. Residents will get an update on recovery efforts and information about home buyouts and relocation. Several officials, including Gov. John Hoeven, will be present. Also, the Linton Industrial Development Corp. will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Linton Community Center. Everyone is welcome to supper and to hear a progress report.

Beach - The Radio Stars, a live variety concert with fiddle, steel guitar, harmonica and vocals, will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Bijou Show House in Beach. Regent - Regent will gather for the July Fourth celebration with Indian tacos served from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Cannonball Saloon with picnicking and gathering at the "slab" until dusk, when the Regent fire department will put on a fireworks display.

Napoleon - A financial and business debriefing of Napoleon's recent 125th anniversary will be held at 7:30 tonight at the Napoleon City Hall. Chairman Marvin Lang invites anyone interested to attend for a recap of the event and discussion on income and expenses.
