A man killed in a one-vehicle wreck southeast of Bismarck has been identified as 26-year-old Anthony Ness.

Ness of Menoken was found dead by his father at the scene of the rollover crash on the 11000 block of Apple Creek Road mid-morning Thursday.

He apparently lost control of his vehicle late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, and the vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled, according to the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department.

Ness apparently was ejected from the vehicle. He was dead when deputies arrived on the scene.

Speed may have been a factor in the crash, according to the sheriff's department. An autopsy will be conducted.
