Bismarck is getting an Olive Garden.

A story in Saturday's Tribune called the restaurant's impending arrival "likely," based on confirmation from a construction company that it was going to start building an Olive Garden here in June.

Well, now there is a new word about the Italian eatery's plans for Bismarck: "definitely."

Olive Garden spokeswoman Mara Frazier said over the weekend that the Italian chain is indeed adding another link.

"I'm excited to say that we are coming to Bismarck, North Dakota," Frazier said.

"Our projected starting date for construction is June 9, and we're looking at a December-January opening."

Frazier said the restaurant will be located at the corner of Harvest Lane and 14th Street, in north Bismarck.

The address on the construction plans, which are available at Construction Plans Exchange here in town, is 3400 N. 14th St.
