A Bismarck man faces felony charges of burglary and theft of property for allegedly breaking into a thrift store and stealing its van.

Ronnie Hollis, 40, was charged Monday with the offenses. South Central District Judge Gail Hagerty set bond for Hollis at $2,500 cash.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said employees at Aid Inc. and Brighten's Thrift Store, 404 Airport Road, reported Monday someone had broken windows on a door, stolen van keys and stolen a van between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:46 a.m. Monday.

They suspected Hollis, who was an employee of the store, Buschena said.

He said Hollis was located at the Burleigh County Detention Center, where he was being held for detox. Officers found evidence to link Hollis to the theft, so he was arrested for the offenses.
