Mandan police are investigating two sprees of vehicle break-ins.
Someone broke into nine campers stored at Freidt Furniture and Storage, 1400 14th St. S.E., late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, Lt. Chris Miller said.
Someone damaged the campers, broke in and tossed items from inside the campers into the lot, Miller said.
"One of the camper owners had been there the night before, and nothing was wrong with it," he said.
During the same time frame, someone broke into at least three vehicles parked near Captain Freddy's, 2500 Pirates Loop S.E.
Someone entered the cars and stole sound system equipment from each, Miller said. He said the manner in which the cars were entered and the things taken from the cars indicate the thefts were related.
Anyone with information about any of the cases should call the Mandan Police Department at 667-3455.
