Hettinger - The annual Bull-o-Rama and Rodeo and Adams County Fair will be held Aug. 1 through Aug. 4 at the fair grounds in Hettinger. The Bull-o-Rama is at 7 p.m. Aug. 3 and the rodeo starts at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4. There also are fair events, a beer garden and cream can supper that will be served at 5 p.m. Aug. 4.

Carson - District 6 Cattlewomen are looking for chili cooks for a contest from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 17 at the fairgrounds in Carson. The Cattlewomen will provide 2 pounds of hamburger. Napoleon - A German supper and street dance will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the back room of the Downtowner restaurant in Napoleon. Beulah - The Missoula Children's Theater's 10th anniversary production of "Robin Hood," will be performed at 3 and 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Beulah Middle School Auditorium. Almont - The Old Red Trail Committee will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Almont Historical Museum in Almont. The Morton County Highway Department will make a presentation about the trail. The public is invited to help in the effort to get a Scenic Byway designation for the old roadway between Dickinson and Mandan.

New Town - The second Reunion at the Heart of Sakakawea will be held Aug. 10 and Aug 11 at New Town in conjunction with the annual Little Shell Pow Wow. Along with the Little Shell celebration at the arena near the 4 Bears Casino, the event will include arts on Main, food and entertainment and the auction of 25 benches that have been artistically painted.

Cross Ranch State Park - The bluegrass band Special Consensus will be in concert at the Cross Ranch State Park near Hensler Friday. The concert will start at 6:30 p.m. with Cotton Wood, a bluegrass group from Washburn, followed by the main performance at 7:30 p.m. The group also will appear at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Logging Camp Ranch near Amidon, following a bison and beef supper.
