The community will have an opportunity to view some special Bismarck gardens on Sunday when Theo Art School sponsors its 14th annual Palette of Gardens Walk.

Hours for the walk are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Four gardens are featured on the self-guided tour; participants walk at their own pace.

The gardens featured will be at the homes of Carol and Darrell Anderson, 734 Aspen Place, Cheri and Clint Wanek, 432 Saturn Drive, Deb and Dave Larson, 3600 England St., and Sharron and Robert Derwin, 420 Anderson St.

All proceeds from the garden walk support the nonprofit art organization's operations, scholarships, free classes and more. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the event. Tickets are available at the Web site highprairiecomplex.com, at Theo Art School, 1810 Schafer St., in Bismarck at Herberger's, Hoskins-Meyer Floral, Urban Girl, Plan Perfect, Cashman Nursery and Landscaping, and at Classic Yard and Garden in Mandan. Two original pieces of art by local artists - "July" by Maggie Belle Herr and "Spiral Stargazer"by Paul Noot - will be raffled. Raffle tickets are $5 each, available at the Theo Art School office before the walk or at any of the 2008 garden walk homes on the day of the walk. The drawing will be held at 3:15 p.m. at the Wanek garden.
