There could be record voter turnouts in Burleigh and Morton counties on Tuesday.
Burleigh County Auditor Kevin Glatt said he is expecting more than 43,000 voters to cast their ballots in Burleigh County this year. In 2004, Glatt said about 39,000 people voted. About 35,000 did so in 2000.
In Morton County, Auditor Paul Trauger said he's expecting 14,000 people to turnout on Election Day.
Polling hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day in Burleigh County.
In Morton, hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day.
Glatt also urges voters to check where their voting precincts are before voting on Tuesday. Voters can check on the Secretary of State Web site: www.nd.gov/sos and click on the "Where Do I Vote?" button for more information.
Two precincts also have changed locations in Burleigh County as well as one in Morton County.
In Burleigh County:
* Precinct 23 will be in the Bismarck Senior Center, 315 N. 20th St. It is no longer in Saxvik Elementary School, 523 N. 21st St.
* Precinct 24 will be in the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1143 N 26th St. It is no longer in Marillac Manor, 1016 N. 28th St.
In Morton County:
* Precincts 17 and 32 are now voting in the First Church of the Nazarene, 4209 Old Red Trail in Mandan. The precincts are no longer voting in the Morton County Highway Department.
