Mandan police on Saturday said a teenager who ran away from the Mandan home of her aunt and uncle has been found.

Heather Mares, 17, was found in Colorado on Friday and has since been returned to her parents, who also live in Colorado. No details were available on Saturday night.

Mares ran away from the home of her aunt and uncle, where she had been staying, Monday night or Tuesday morning. She left a note indicating she was leaving with a person she had met on the Internet and that they might be heading for Las Vegas.
