The dedication of a centennial plaque at the Chase Lake National Wildlife Refuge, scheduled for this afternoon, has been postponed.

"Unfortunately, the plaque that was ordered will not arrive in time, so we will reschedule the plaque dedication for a later time," Chase Lake Foundation president Karl Limvere said.

The plaque will be installed as a permanent centennial anniversary reminder of the establishment of Chase Lake NWR by President Theodore Roosevelt.

The evening centennial banquet and program will proceed as scheduled this evening at the Medina City Auditorium. The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m. and a pitchfork fondue at 6:30 p.m.
