On Dec. 12, two noted country music artists will be performing at Prairie Knights Casino.

Moe Bandy, who had a string of hit country songs in the 1970s, will be performing along with Jett Williams, the daughter of country star Hank Williams Sr. The pair will be playing at 7:30 p.m. in the Pavilion at Prairie Knights Casino.

Bandy, whose hits include "Here I am, Drunk Again," and "Bandy the Rodeo Clown," worked as a sheet metal worker for his father. He played music gigs in bars nights and weekends, for 12 years, until the public began to notice his music and his songs moved up the charts.

Jett Williams, who was born five days after her famous father's death, was adopted at the age of 3 by a family in Mobile, Ala., after being a ward of the state since two months after her birth.

After a long investigation into the identity of her biological father, it was discovered that her father was Hank Williams. Since then, she has been devoted to protecting the legacy of her father's music by performing around the nation.

She will be performing many of her father's classic hits.
