Robert Stotz has been named the executive director of the American Red Cross, Western North Dakota Chapter. In this role, he is responsible for all organizational functions of the American Red Cross in Western North Dakota.

Prior to taking this position, Stotz served as the Disaster Program Manager for the Red Cross in Western North Dakota, and previously, he retired from the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Camp Pendleton, Calif.

“I am honored to be a part of our American Red Cross family and work alongside a fantastic team of like-minded humanitarians who want to dedicate their efforts to helping others,” Stotz said. “On my deployment in support of Hurricane Irma disaster relief, I have seen first-hand how compassion and passion merge with selfless action. I am proud to be a part of an organization that has touched the lives of so many throughout our country.”

Stotz enters this position with 25 years of experience in leadership development, operational planning and a passion for helping those in need. He holds a bachelor’s degree and two minors from Penn State University.
