A Bismarck woman is accused of taking more than $15,000 from her workplace.

Dawn Bad Warrior, 39, was charged Tuesday with Class B felony theft of property.

South Central District Judge Bruce Romanick ordered Bad Warrior can be released upon posting 10 percent of $2,500, which means she must post $250 but could be forced to pay $2,500 if she doesn’t obey bond conditions.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said a state supervisor for Money Lenders, reported Monday at 9:12 a.m. that several thousand dollars were missing or stolen from the Money Lenders at 913 Burlington Drive. An audit showed $8,600 in bogus loans had been made, and $7,000 was missing from the vault.

Bad Warrior was arrested when she went into work. She was taken to the Burleigh County Detention Center.
