Megan Zander - Girls basketball
Megan Zander had a great month of December for girls basketball. She got off to a hot start for the season, averaging nearly 22 points per game and 13 rebounds per game during our seven games in December. During our game against Legacy High School, Megan scored 36 points and pulled down 22 rebounds, breaking the previous school record held in both categories of “most points scored in a single game” and “most rebounds in a single game.” Megan was a very consistent player for our team during December, and her play on the court is extremely beneficial to the success of our team. She leads by example and plays hard every night. Her powerful presence on the court was a huge reason for our team going 5-2 during the month of December, and getting off to a good start for the season.
