Archie and Anne Marie Wanner, Hebron, along with agriculturists in 53 counties in North Dakota and nine counties in Minnesota, were honored Nov. 10 during the 44th annual Harvest Bowl program at North Dakota State University.

The Wanners own River Camp Ranch where they raise corn, malting barley, wheat, sunflowers, alfalfa and grass hay using minimum-tillage and no-till farming practices. They also have 450 head of Angus cattle. They have been farming for 40 years and received the Morton County Soil Conservation District’s Soil Conservation Award in 2000.

Both are 1980 NDSU graduates. Archie also is a member of the Hebron Fire Department Board, Glen Ullin Weighing Association and North Dakota Stockmen’s Association. Anne Marie previously worked as a medical technologist. She also is a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church Christian Mothers and the Hebron Community Christmas Cantata. They have one child.
