On Dean's List
Students have been named to the 2017 spring semester Dean's List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. To qualify, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade-point average.

Alicia Beck, a native of Bismark and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater tennis program, was named a 2017 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete.
Beck is a junior majoring in physical education.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, student-athletes must have been a varsity letter winner, maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year and been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
Honors for two
The University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Minnesota has released its spring semester Dean’s List, which requires that full-time students achieve a grade-point average of at least 3.65 (out of 4.0) for the semester.
The list includes David Reeves, Jamestown, and Joshua VanLith, Minot, both with honors.
Scholarship for Solem
The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation in Minnesota has awarded grants to 134 people, including Cole Solem, of Bismarck, who received a Minnesota Power New Generation Scholarship to attend community college.
Jeanessa Nembhard, of Minot, has completed new student orientation and enrolled at Troy University for the fall semester at the campus in Troy, Ala.
