Jeanne Mancini is bringing a message of “Pray and Work: Building a Culture of Life” to the annual Prayer Day celebration at the University of Mary.
The event begins Wednesday with a Prayer Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in Chick’s Place, followed by Mancini’s 10 a.m. keynote address in the adjacent Lumen Vitae University Center’s Founders Hall. The festivities conclude after the 11:30 a.m. Mass held in Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel.
Mancini has made frequent media appearances, including interviews on MSNBC, CNN, FOX, ABC and CBA. Her writings have appeared in the New York Times, U.S. News and World Report, USA Today and she was interviewed by The Washington Post this past July.
“Every life is a gift,” Mancini said. “Who am I to judge the value of this one’s life or that one’s? They could discover the cure for AIDS. They could be the first woman president.”
The 2017 Prayer Day event is free and open to the public.
