Women's retreat to be held in Minot
SHE Ministries of First Baptist Church, Minot is hosting a women's retreat, "I'm Going Free," on April 7-8 in the Coliseum Room at the Holiday Inn Riverside. The retreat takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
The featured speaker is Dannah Gresh, who has written more than 27 books. She will encourage participants to share thoughts on developing a more intimate relationship with Jesus. Gresh has appeared on Fox News, CNN, the 700 Club and is a frequent guest on "Focus on the Family" and "Family Life Today."

Christian Women’s Club sets meetings
Carol Kuntz, of Bismarck, will be the speaker for the two Christian Women’s Clubs meeting on Thursday. Her theme is “Freedom from Life’s Hurts.”

JOY Breakfast to focus on women's self-worth
Speaker and author Carey Scott will help women untangle their self-worth from daily “I’m not good enough” messages as part of the 11th annual JOY Breakfast, which 700 women are expected to attend.
The breakfast will be held from 9 to 11:45 a.m. March 11 at the Bismarck Ramkota, 800 S. Third St. Tickets, $20, are available at the Rainbow Shop (Parable) at 551 S. Seventh St., or online at www.joyintl.org. Deadline for registration is Thursday.

UU church to offer panel discussion
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship & Church offers a panel discussion, "Women of the World," on Sunday with moderator Cecilia Montesdeoca. Panelists include Martha Hernandez, Ursula Conrad, Karen Morrison, Milena Stojkovic and Turdukan Tostokova. Discussions center on the diverse contributions international women in the community have made to help empower other women and bring positive long-term change to North Dakota and beyond.
