North Dakota’s The Haunted Fort rises from the darkness to terrify those who dare to visit Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.

The 16th season of The Haunted Fort opens at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 and continues every Friday and Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. throughout October.

“The fear event this year will be filled with screams, terror, fu, and live zombies," said Matt Schanandore, director of The Haunted Fort.

Along with the original three haunted houses, an all-new attraction this year, “The Battlefield” is an interactive paintball shooting gallery giving those brave souls the adrenaline-infused moment to shoot zombies. “The Battlefield” zombie paintball shooting gallery is open every night of The Haunted Fort.

Other special opportunities to visit The Haunted Fort include Bis-Man Student night on Oct. 19 and The Halloween Kids Bash on Oct. 22.

Visit www.HauntedFort.com to get tickets, find dates and times and learn how to be a scare team volunteer at the event.
