Sip Coffee House is calling all Region "Pokémon Go" fanatics for a costume contest, discounts and more Friday night. The meet up starts at 6 pm and runs until 9 pm at Sip’s downtown Crown Point location, 11 N Court St.

The small coffee shop, located on Crown Point’s square, is situated by three Pokéstops, or areas for players to gather more supplies like pokéballs and potions. Sip’s staff will put lure modules on the stops every 30 minutes for players to reap more of their favorite Pokémon.

According to Sip staff members, the first 140 people to make a purchase after the event’s start will receive little Pokémon figurines that they can trade.

Planning on stopping by? Don’t forget to dress as your favorite Pokémon or trainer. Sip’s meet up also features a costume contest with first, second and third place winners. Prizes include a variety of gift cards and Pokémon trading cards.

The coffee house is also offering a 10 percent discount to Team Mystic members on their drink purchases. If you’ve got blue pride, don’t forget to show your Team Mystic logo before ordering.

Above all, Sip’s staff members are encouraging fun for all Pokémon Go players on Friday night.

“We’re trying to get people to walk around together,” Sip Coffee House staff member Jacob Columbo said. “They can show different types of trading, and have fun, even if they haven’t met each other.
