The public is invited to listen to “Labor Day Folk Songs” will be offered to the public at 1 p.m. Monday at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site.
Visitors can listen to, or participate in, an acoustic instrument singalong led by Kris Kitko, featuring songs and poetry from the labor movement, particularly from the era during which the Former Governors' Mansion was occupied. Located on the corner of Fourth Street and East Avenue B in Bismarck, the mansion will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day. This free event is open to all ages. Ice cream and lemonade will be provided.
