Please join us for an historical presentation by Ben Kubischta entitled The Bridge at Elbowoods. In 1934, the North Dakota State Highway Department completed the Four Bears Memorial Bridge across the Missouri River at Elbowoods. This bridge completed a north-south highway across North Dakota and helped tie the Fort Berthold Reservation together. You will hear stories from people who lived in the area in the 1930s and 1940s. Stories include how this new crossing of the river impacted their work, play, and faith.
This event is offered at no charge. Seating is limited, so please RSVP by calling 701-323-7000.
