People interested in starting a business in Mandan can learn how at Business Start-Up 101 workshop.

The Mandan Tomorrow Economic Opportunity and Prosperity Committee is hosting its second in a series of 2013 business education workshops on April 18.

Topics covered will include traits of successful entrepreneurs, business planning and feasibility, financing options, business structures, and assistance programs. A panel of local small business owners will provide additional insights and answer questions about operating a business.

The session will be held at HIT Inc., 2640 Sunset Drive. The program is free and runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Advance registration is required by April 15 at under the “Meeting and Event Registration” tab or call 667-3485.

The information session is co-hosted by the city of Mandan Business Development Office, Bismarck-Mandan Development Association and Bismarck-Mandan Chamber.
