A women’s holiday decorating and social event is being held to raise money for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

United Way’s Women’s Leadership Circle is hosting “Unwrap the Magic” from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Spaces Inc. in downtown Bismarck.

The event will include seasonal decorating ideas, food, drinks and music. Proceeds will go to the local Imagination Library program.

Tickets can be purchased for $40 by calling Missouri Slope Areawide United Way at 255-3601.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library sends registered children a new book in the mail each month from birth to age 5. About 4,000 children are enrolled in the Bismarck- Mandan area.

The event’s ticket cost covers the cost to ship books to one child for one year in the Imagination Library.
