Quintus now CEO

Brennan Quintus has been appointed CEO of the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund following the retirement of former CEO Steve Spilde.

Spilde will continue in a consulting role until March 1.

Quintus had been the NDIRF's risk services manager for the past three years.

He holds undergraduate and master of business administration degrees from the University of Mary and has earned insurance designations, including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Certified Insurance Counselor.

Nordsven joins

Mellissa Nordsven has joined Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center as director of human resources.

A native of Mounds View, Minn., Nordsven is a graduate of Rasmussen College and North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in human resources and organizational leadership.

A certified professional in human resources, she most recently worked in human resources and payroll for Sanford Health in Bismarck.

Closings leaders

Shirley Thomas and Judy Maslowski are Bianco Realty’s Realtors of the month for having the most closed sales in November.

Gaskins hired

Henry Gaskins has been hired as a travel agent by Direct Travel, Bismarck, formerly Satrom Travel & Tour.

Gaskins has been a travel agent for almost three years, most recently with AAA. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He specializes in cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Alaska travel and Disney.

Wolff selected

Kristie Wolff has been named executive director of the North Dakota Women’s Network and will work in its Bismarck office.

Wolff has experience in the nonprofit sector and most recently managed a tobacco prevention program at a statewide nonprofit.

Welder on staff

Lori Welder has joined Railway Credit Union as marketing manager.

Welder earned an associate's degree in commercial art from Bismarck State College and a bachelor's degree in graphic communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, design and event planning.

Van Orman chosen

Todd Van Orman, assistant professor of finance at the University of Mary, has been appointed to Railway Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee. He holds a business administration degree in banking and financial economics from the University of North Dakota and a master's degree in business administration from U-Mary.
