Hettianne Cekalla has been selected as the senior area manager for the Bismarck office of the U.S. Small Business Administration, which serves 25 counties in western North Dakota.
Cekalla previously served with USDA Rural Development in Rapid City, S.D., and with the SBA in El Paso, Texas. A native of South Dakota and a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Cekalla has worked as a real estate broker, mortgage loan officer and real property assessor.
Misty Benske, Erin Luedtke, Kirsten Solway, Kayla Hardy and Kelly Nagel have been promoted at Capital Credit Union.
Benske is now a business services associate. She has 15 years of financial services experience, most recently as a help desk representative at the credit union’s main office.
Luedtke was promoted to processing specialist. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Minot State University and three years of financial services experience, most recently as universal services representative.
Solway, previously a part-time teller and business services associate, was promoted to contact center representative. Solway has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Hardy has been promoted from human resources coordinator to senior human resources specialist. On the staff since 2007, she holds degrees in business administration and human resources management from Dickinson State University and Professional in Human Resources and Society of Human Resources Professionals Certified Professional certifications.
Nagel was promoted to human resources specialist and will continue to serve as executive assistant. She has been with Capital Credit Union since 2008.
Derek Binstock has joined American Insurance Center as a commercial lines producer.
Binstock holds series 7, series 66, life and health certifications along with an associate’s degree from Bismarck State College and the University of Mary.
Leno on staff
Luke Leno has been hired as a trust officer at American Trust Center in Bismarck.
Leno held a similar job at Dakota Community Bank & Trust. He graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
Fred Fridley has been named interim vice president of operations for the Bismarck Region of Sanford Health.
Fridley is a native of Watford City and joined Sanford Health in 2012.
Ebert with BND
Lindsey Ebert has been hired as a bank operations specialist at the Bank of North Dakota.
Ebert previously was a customer service representative at Choice Financial. She holds an associate's degree in business administration from Bismarck State College.
Beverly Franz has been hired as an in-home family therapist at The Village Family Service Center in Bismarck.
Franz earned a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Mary and is a licensed associate professional counselor.
