Hospital named rural Top 100
Linton Hospital was recently named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
Hospitals were scored on an index that measures inpatient share ranking, outpatient share ranking, cost, charge, quality, outcomes, patient perspective (satisfaction) and financial stability.
Chartis provides advisory services and analytics to the health care industry.
Donation aids animal impound
The Tractor Supply Co. store in Bismarck donated 68 bags of pet food to the Bismarck Animal Control Department to feed dogs and cats in need of adoption.
"More often than not, animal shelters and rescues depend greatly on food donations to support the pets they take in that await adoption," said Russell Krivoruchka, manager of the Bismarck Tractor Supply store.
