Trial set in child abuse case

RUGBY (AP) - A Rugby woman charged with six counts of criminal child abuse is scheduled to go to trial on March 30.

Authorities allege that Lori Voeller physically abused six children at her daycare between November 2005 and August of this year. The 47-year-old woman is free on $5,000 bond.

Each count of criminal child abuse is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
