"I want to continue having the honor system so we have it open 24 hours a day. It's not a money-making business. This is a community gathering space. It's not about the money."- Albert "Buzz"Olson, of Sentinel Butte, owner of the town's service station. Olson is ready to retire, turning over the business to son Rick. During the hours the station is not open, locals get gasoline on the honor system, using one of the approximately 80 keys to the pumps held by people in the community. Folks write down the dollar amount of how much gas they've pumped and can make payment through a slot by the station door.

"I would love to go out hunting every day, but I can't. I can only hope that I get a job that will let me still hunt. I know that it will always be something that my dad and I do, until he can't go any more, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. ... I like to do other things besides hunting as well. I play guitar and I'm in a group at my school called the Simle Singers, and even though I get up at 5 a.m. almost every other day to do it, I enjoy it almost as much as hunting."
