STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
North Dakota Industrial Commission,
acting as the North Dakota Housing
Finance Agency (the “Agency”), will
conduct a public hearing on December
6, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. (CT), in the
office of the Agency at 2624 Vermont
Avenue, in Bismarck, Nor th Dakota,
on the proposal that the Agency issue
revenue bonds in one or more series in
the maximum amount of $416,000,000
(the “Bonds”) under the North Dakota
Housing Finance Agency Act, in order to
provide for mortgage financing through
participating lenders for the purchase
or substantial rehabilitation of single
family housing within Nor th Dakota
by eligible borrowers. Generally, to be
eligible a borrower must: 1) not have
had an ownership interest in a principle
residence within the past three years; 2)
not have an income in excess of 115%
of the median income (as established
by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development); and 3) not acquire
housing with a purchase price in excess
of an amount established by the Internal
Revenue Service. The Agency does
have authority to establish different, less
restrictive, eligibility criteria for targeted
or disaster areas. (Purchase price
limitations are subject to change.)
The Bonds issued by the Agency to
finance such home mortgages shall be
limited obligations of the State payable
solely from the revenues pledged to the
payment thereof. No holder of the Bonds
shall ever have the right to compel any
exercise of the taxing power of the
State to pay the Bonds, or the interest
thereon, nor to enforce payment against
any property of the State except the
revenues and assets pledged under the
bond resolutions.

The City of Bismarck is seeking cost
proposals for the pruning of boulevard
trees in three project areas.

Project Area 1: between E Century
Ave and E Interstate Ave and between
N Washington St and N 4th St.
Project Area 2: between E Turnpike
Ave and E Divide Ave and between N
Washington St (both sides of the
street) and N 5th St (west side of the
street).
Project Area 3: between E Turnpike
Ave and E Divide Ave and between N
5th St (east side of the street) and N
11th St.
Sealed bids for the pruning of boulevard
trees will be received in the office of
the City Administrator, until three (3:00)
o’clock p.m. CST, on Tuesday, November
28, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened
and reviewed at four (4:00) o’clock p.m.
CST, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017
at the City/County Building first floor
conference room, 221 N 5th Street,
